Don't kow much about laptops and your help is appreciated.

i personally like AMD or Intel chips better than celeron - its pretty much up to you if everything else is equal.......

#3 is what i would take....

I am the proud owner of a Compaq Presario with the Celeron processor. IT SUCKS.......Take the HP all the way.

Thanks guys. You must be right since #1 is $100 cheaper than the other 2. #3, the HP is only $379.99 Fri morn at Best Buy. I'll be in line early.

I like #3 option for Core solo (just a fancy name of Pentium M). AMD heats faster, you'll feel it in the palm of your hand......

any of them should be OK as long as you reinstall the OS again and clean install meaning you don't use the crap they give you out of the box. ANy of them should work fast..... guaruntee....
